Special uncorker for brittle corks
The tension corkscrew is the best alternative to the spiral corkscrews, as it is particularly suitable for older, brittle corks. The cork is not damaged by a spiral, but very gently lifted upwards. Also, the air supply with the Spangenkorkenziehr occurs less suddenly, because the cork is not abruptly pulled out.
Two hardened steel springs include even brittle corks safely and ensure clean removal of the cork. First guide the longer blade between the cork and the neck of the bottle and then cradle both blades as far as they will go into the neck of the bottle. The grooves on the sides of the blades can hold onto the cork. By turning the corkscrew at the same time slightly and pull, you uncork the bottle.
The absolute highlight: if you have not drunk your wine, you can easily reinsert the cork with the corkscrew AH-SO. And even as a cap lifter can be used the corkscrew!
The corkscrew is highly polished and chrome-plated.
